A few months ago I set-up two baby registries. One was though Target, which is one of my favorite places to shop and the other was through Amazon, which is one of my favorite places to shop online. 🙂 Both of these registries offered great registry gifts, so I thought I would share.
If you have a Target close by, it is a great option for a baby registry. They offer both online and in-store registry purchases and the site is easy to use to either set up your registry online or with the scanner in the store. They are also great for other registries (such as wedding, college, etc.). I did a Target registry with my son as well, so I knew they offered some sort of gift bag. To receive your gift, you must go to the customer service at your area Target store. If you are not going for a usual shopping trip, you might want to call ahead to make sure they have the registry gift in stock. Here is a picture of what was included in my gift bag:
My Amazon registry was also easy to set-up. Amazon is a great option for the items that are not available at Target. I love shopping at Amazon and have an Amazon Prime membership, but this was my first Amazon registry.
I have heard that the Amazon registry gift varies, but my gift box was pretty good. The gift box is completely free once a purchase has been made off your registry. Any purchase can be made, so if you really want the gift box you could purchase something off your registry to be eligible. When you go to order the gift box, it will appear as though it cost money, but it does not. If they charge you for the box, for some reason, simply call customer service and they will refund the money.

I thought both gifts were nice and enjoy getting free samples of products to try out, especially the bottles and pacifiers since every baby has different preferences with those. It is nice to get a few different ones to be able to try without having to buy them. I also liked the Muslin blanket in my Amazon box and my son decided the helicopter toy was for him, so he enjoyed the box as well. The small bath wash samples are great for travel and I like to throw the diaper/wipe holders in my purse, diaper bag, or car for quick trips.
Where did you register for your babies? Did you receive any nice gifts?
